Matt and I met up in a guest house a couple days ago and have been exploring the city since. Yesterday we went and found Sanghi, my tuk tuk driver from last year. I know where he usually parks and he was surprised to see me looking for him. If you read the page on this site entitled "Garrett's Previous Experience in Cambodia" you whould know that Sanghi and I spent some time together, including to get my paddle made for my last expedition down the Mekong.
Sanghi took us around the city to all the interesting buildings and monuments. Most of what we have done so far has been going back to some of my favorite and most important places to see including Watt Phnom, S-21, and the killing fields. I have described these places in the previous experience page off this site as well. One of the more interesting new experiences was my lunch; beef with red ants.
In other exciting news, I had a meeting with the Southeast Asia Globe and they are interested in doing a story on our expedition! I hope we can give them something good to write about.
